Ms. Burkholder’s Homepage

Welcome to my homepage! I’d like to tell you a little bit about myself. This is my fifth year teaching in second grade and I love working with young children. I find it exciting to be on the leading edge of education and incorporating technology in the classroom!

I have two boys. My oldest son Jed graduated from North Platte High School last year and is getting ready to attend UAT. UAT is a four year technology college in Arizona. This year my youngest son Zech will be a sophmore. Zech likes to leave greetings and pictures on the whiteboard for 2nd graders! We don’t have any pets right now because we are too busy to take care of them but someday I would like to get another Bichon like Rascal, the white dog in the picture.

In my spare time I enjoy participating in triathlons which have three events- swimming, biking, and running and lifting weights at the gym. I also LOVE, LOve, love to read, watch movies with my boys, and be active in my community and church.
